车辐的《锦城旧事》、罗清和的《成都方脑壳传奇》和桑格格的《小时候》是把成都方言娴熟地运用于小说叙事的典范之作,独具时代气质和地方审美趣味。把方言叙事建立在演绎俗文化和彰显地域文化精神,是他们的叙事策略;他们笔下的人物都是成都土生土长带有鲜明地方特色和性格的民间人物,在方言语词的包装下,他们的形象本身就是一个时期成都文化的风俗画;他们分别代表了深沉中的反思、放肆中的幽默、稚拙中的智慧三种审美品性和价值追求。
