场反向位形是紧凑环位形中比较好的一种磁约束位形。等离子体完全由极向磁场约束(没有环向场)。实验证明,场反向位形可以长时间稳定地约束等离子体。它具有环形系统的约束特点,又具有开端系统的简单性。目前已成为研究磁约束等离子体的重要课题之一。 在场反向位形实验中,一个简单而重要的诊断工具就是用差分磁环探针,用以测量场反向位形等离子体所排除的磁通量。等离子体的一般行为可以通过测量排除磁通量数据得到。
The field reverse position is a kind of magnetic confinement which is better in the compact ring position. The plasma is completely constrained by the polar magnetic field (no toroidal field). Experiments show that the field inversion configuration can constrain the plasma stably for a long time. It has the ring system of restraint features, but also has the simplicity of the beginning of the system. It has become one of the important topics to study the magnetic confinement plasma. A simple and important diagnostic tool in presence inversion experiments is the use of a differential ring probe to measure the magnetic flux excluded by field inversion plasmas. The general behavior of the plasma can be obtained by measuring the excluded flux data.
