28-year-old Liu Huide grew up in Macau, now working and living in New York. Based on the creation of ceramics and printmaking, she calls for the reconstruction of the concept of “transcendental homelessness.” The concept was first proposed by Georg Lukacs in “Theories of Fiction” in the 1920s to depict the loss of moral dwelling in Western societies - the intrinsic integrity that exists in religion and mythology.
