The Polish Senate recently passed a law on the privatization of state-owned enterprises, according to which all citizens will become equity shareholders by purchasing corporate shares at low prices. According to plan, 60% of the 600 state-owned enterprises in the wave will be transferred to 20 public investment funds. The other 15% of the shares will be held by employees and the remaining 25% will be owned by the Treasury. The entire privatization work is divided into two steps. In the first phase, the shares of 200 enterprises were distributed to state-owned enterprises and retirees. In the second stage, the company sold the shares of another 400 companies to all the waves.
