本文首次在国内报告用PAGE法对轮状病毒感染作分子流行病学调查,并首次确认该病毒是本地区引起婴幼儿急性腹泻的主要病原(据我们手头资料)。本研究从151份急性腹泻患儿粪便中提取轮状病毒核酸,用PAGE法进行核酸检测,共测出轮状病毒核酸阳性标本90份(阳性率为59.6%),其中86份的RNA基因图型为“长型”,仅4份为“短型”。我们对轮状病毒核酸检测方法亦作了一些改进。
This is the first report of a molecular epidemiological investigation of rotavirus infection by PAGE in China, and for the first time confirmed that this virus is the main cause of acute diarrhea in infants and young children in our region (according to our data). In this study, rotavirus nucleic acid was extracted from the urine of 151 children with acute diarrhea and detected by PAGE. A total of 90 rotavirus nucleic acid positive samples were detected (positive rate was 59.6%), of which 86 were RNA gene map Type is “long” and only 4 are “short”. We also made some improvements to the rotavirus nucleic acid detection method.
