Reported on the impact of antiretroviral therapy (ART) on the incidence of tuberculosis (TB) among HIV-positive cohorts in Burkina Faso and contributed to the increasing work in West Africa on this issue experience. Of particular interest is the finding that in the long-term treatment of AIDS patients, the incidence of tuberculosis is reduced to the prevalence of tuberculosis in the general population in the country.
