1995年是深圳港口改革和发展取得重大成果的一年。 由于受国家经济政策调控影响,部分沿海港口出现负增长的势头,我市港口生产的形势亦不乐观。深圳石化路易达孚油库撤出深圳;深圳河整治,内河码头生产受到影响,据估计这两项减少吞吐量约300万吨。在这样的形势下,我市1995年的港口吞吐量比1994年还是略有增长。1995年全港吞吐量达3080万吨,比1994年增长2.5％。其中蛇口港区1084.5万吨,赤湾776.5万吨,妈湾373.9万吨,东角头181.6万吨,盐田58.4万吨,机场89万吨,内河451.6万吨,沙鱼冲64万吨,分别比去年增长6.06％、8.3％、173.7％、171.9％、183.5％、0.3％、-49.7％、17.2％。
