我国的工程技术人员,无论在名词或概念方面对工业工程(Industrial Engineering,简称IE)都比较生疏。但在工业发达国家工业工程已成为一门新兴学科,对其工业发展起到了很大的作用。近年来,我国一些学者赴国外专门学习和研究工业工程知识与课题,深切感到我国需要引进、推广和运用这门学科理论知识。同时,国家工业管理部门和工业企业也希望在抓“工艺突破口”已取得明显成效的基础上,通过对工业工程的研究与应用,推进工艺管理工作的科学化、系统化和现代化。为此,中国机械工程学会于今年8月23～25日在北京召开了“工业工程座谈会”。本刊特约请与会的部分专家撰稿,既系统又扼要地介绍工业工程的基本知识与应用,以飨读者。
China’s engineering and technical personnel are ignorant of industrial engineering (IE) in terms of terms or concepts. However, industrial engineering in industrialized countries has become a new discipline and has played a significant role in its industrial development. In recent years, some Chinese scholars have gone abroad to study and study industrial engineering knowledge and topics. They deeply feel that China needs to introduce, promote, and apply theoretical knowledge of this discipline. At the same time, the national industrial management departments and industrial enterprises also hope to advance the scientific, systematic, and modernization of process management through the research and application of industrial engineering on the basis of grasping the “observance of technological breakthroughs” that has achieved remarkable results. To this end, the China Mechanical Engineering Society held the “Industrial Engineering Symposium” in Beijing from August 23 to August 25. The magazine specially invited some of the experts who participated in the conference to write articles, and systematically and briefly introduced the basic knowledge and applications of industrial engineering to readers.
