Permeable paving slabs can be used as a storage facility to reduce the pressure on tap water. Rainwater collected from the roof can be stored under the road surface and used as a source of low-quality household water, such as watering gardens and flushing toilets. As groundwater may be in short supply in summer or in arid regions, groundwater evaporation can have a huge impact on ensuring adequate supply. To this end, a series of experiments have been conducted to control the evaporation of groundwater. In the experiment, water was stored in a variety of different pavement pavement systems, including with or without geotextiles or pavement structures of various types of geotextiles. The experiment found that a double geotextile (one of which is permeable to water and reduces the seepage of contaminants while the other controls the evaporation of water) has the advantage of reducing the amount of water evaporation compared to not using a geotextile or only one Layering off geo-oil are better. Another similar test was carried out at the site, but the amount of water stored on the pavement was continually replenished due to the rain, so that the entire test system was always filled with water. The test results also showed that the performance of the double geotextile in preventing water evaporation optimal. In this paper, we try to get the theoretical value of the water quantity of pavement storage through the test results so as to determine exactly how much storage space is needed. In addition, it is also very important to measure the percolation rate and water quality when using the new geotextile.
