读了张庚、郭汉城主编的《中国戏曲通史》以后,感到全书的文字明爽,条理清楚,深入浅出,有学术性,使我增添了新知,纠正了旧误。这部书的主要价值在于:它在前人的研究成果的基础上,在观点、方法、订讹、释疑各方面都有新的突破,是一部具有自身特色的新型史学著作。怎样认识和阐发一定社会和一定戏剧之间的真实有机联系?这是戏曲史研究中长期没有很好解决的一个难题。《中国戏曲通史》(以下简称《通史》)十分注意解决这个问题。他们在“编者说明”中提出的宗旨是:“试图通过古代戏曲与各个时代的政治、经济、文化等关系,探索一些戏曲发展的规律,为今天
After reading the General History of Chinese Opera edited by Zhang Geng and Guo Hancheng, I felt that the book’s writing was bright and clear, and that it was easy to understand and explained in an easy-to-understand manner.
