FeO是烧结矿的主要成分,对烧结矿强度与冶金性能有重要影响。国内外都推行低FeO烧结,如何寻求既要提高烧结矿还原性又不降低强度是研究FeO的关键。攀钢烧结矿碱度(R)达到2.5左右,进行了FeO对烧结矿性能影响与FeO的影响因素实验。实验结果表明,强度、利用系数、成品率随FeO的上升而提高,FeO达一定值后指标亦达最大值,具有典型的二次曲线特性;随FeO的上升,还原性变差,低温还原粉化率改善。w(FeO)控制在7.24%~8.44%可兼顾质量、能耗、冶金性能等各种指标在最佳范围。在燃料配比不变的前提下,碱度、水分、SiO2、Al2O3、返矿用量任何一个因素量的上升均会导致FeO的下降,进而影响生产技术指标,因此须适当提高配炭量。
