China National Museum of Fine Arts is one ofthe ten landmark buildings in Beijing built in the1950s in celebration of the 10th anniversary ofthe founding of New China.This Chinese gardenstyle structure was built at the proposal of thecountry’s first generation of leaders and integratedmany original architectural concepts of the latepremier Zhou Enlai.Over the decades,the galleryhas housed numerous world-class exhibitions andthus has been generally considered the ultimatedestination for Chinese artists.
