豫西南地区是我国重要的高铝矿物资源产地，含矿层位为秦岭群。矽线石矿赋存于高温中压（部分低压）变质相系的一个特殊岩性组合──孔兹岩系中。矿床类型为区域变质型和接触变质型。区内矽线石矿产资源量大，采选条件较好，开发利用前景广阔。
Southwestern Henan Province is an important source of high-aluminum mineral resources in China, and the ore-bearing layer is Qinling Group. Sillimanite occurs in a special lithological assemblage of the high-temperature and medium-pressure (partial-low-pressure) metamorphic facies, the Kongzizi series. The deposit types are regional metamorphism and contact metamorphism. The area of sillimanite mineral resources, mining conditions are good, the development and utilization of a bright future.
