日本是世界上渔业最发达的国家之一,多年来渔获量均居各国之首,年产量达1200万吨以上。每年作为食物的水产品消费量约为800多万吨,人均消费额达35.7公斤。日本的水产品加工非常发达,据日本《工业统计年报》(产业编)报道,近年来日本的水产加工业产品年总产值达32000亿日元以上,相当于日本全渔业、养殖业的总产值。
Japan is one of the countries with the most developed fisheries in the world, ranking the first among all countries in terms of catches for many years with an annual output of more than 12 million tons. The annual consumption of aquatic products as food is about 8 million tons and the per capita consumption amounts to 35.7 kg. Japan’s aquatic products processing is very well developed. According to Japan’s “Annual Report of Industrial Statistics” (Industry Edition), in recent years, the total output value of Japan’s aquatic products has reached over 3.2 trillion yen, equivalent to the total value of Japan’s total fisheries and aquaculture .
