It was found that the content of active manganese in the fertilization treatment of red soil tea field for many years in field trials decreased. The fertilizing treatment showed that the manganese absorption of tea decreased with the non-fertilization treatment. In humid subtropics of West Georgia, mineral fertilizers increase crop yields. For example, the output of tea leaves increased 4 to 5 times more, orange crops increased 3 to 4 times. This determines the annual application of large amounts of industrial mineral fertilizer. Systematic, long-term (more than 30 years) fertilization has changed some of the characteristics of red soils, and increased levels of organic matter, total nitrogen and hydrolysed nitrogen, water-soluble and soluble phosphorus, and active potassium were identified in the tea plantations.
