3G牌照发放后,手机媒体的发展再一次成为传媒行业关注的焦点,也预示着媒介竞争已经从传统媒介之间的竞争转向多媒体竞争,尤其是过去传统意义上的报业之争也从纸质走向电子介质。据中国互联网络信息中心(CNNIC)2009年2月18日发布的《中国手机媒体研究报告》显示,越来越多的人开始接受手机报的方式,超过67.5%的用户认为手机报使用比较方便,手机报的业务普及率已达39.6%。对于手机报的重要性判断中,有近67.6%的用户认为手机报是传统报纸的补充,而对于19.4%的用户而言,手机报已经与传统报纸同样重要。可以看出,手机报经过这几年的快速发展已经显现出未来巨大的价值潜力,但是在实际的发展过程中,手机报依然面临着许多问题。
