幼儿具有好动、爱美的天性,他们喜欢唱歌跳舞表演、涂鸦画画剪贴,以音乐、美术审美活动为主要内容的艺术教育能满足幼儿这方面的认知心理需求。《幼儿园教育指导纲要》(下文简称《纲要》)艺术领域的教育“内容与要求”就强调指出:“在艺术活动中面向全体幼儿,要针对他们的不同特点和需要,让每个幼儿都得到美的熏陶和培养。”应“提供自由表现的机会,鼓励幼儿用不同艺术形式大胆地表达自己的情感、理解和想象,尊重每个幼儿的想法和创造,肯定和接纳他们独特的审美感受和表现方式,分享他们创造的快乐”。这说明,幼儿艺术教育中教师应引导幼儿学习掌握最适合自己的多种多样的审美表现形式。
