Luoyangkou area along the Ruzhou Yangpu Formation belongs to the Upper Proterozoic Luoyu Group. The Luoyukou Formation can be divided into four lithology segments from bottom to top, of which the first and second segments are equivalent to the Luoyukou Formation on the section of the Jiangyou Formation near Luoyangkou, Ruyang, and the third and fourth sections are the Ruzhou areas The newly discovered strata, between them all showed an integrated contact relationship, the era belongs to the late Proterozoic Qingbaikikikiji. The four sections of the Luoyukou Formation have strong regularity in the lithologic assemblage, which reflects the alternation of sedimentary environment in the tide, intertidal and tide. The sea level oscillations are frequent and three class Ⅱ sequences are developed. The top and bottom interface of the other sequences are type Ⅱ sequence boundaries except for the type Ⅰ sequence interface at the top of Ⅱ 3. All three sequences have common sedimentary features, the transgressive system tract is not well developed, and the horizons in the starvation stage are low
