青油9号(原系号125—1),是我院1971年冬在福建冬繁时,以白菜型不育系87A—9为母本、以八宝小油菜为父本杂交,从杂交后代出现的可育株中选育而成的。1974年在西宁参加品系鉴定,产量居首位,亩产620.1斤,较对照青油5号增产24.5％。1980年在祁连县八宝公社试种148.4亩,平均亩产305.3斤,其中有50亩平均亩产379斤。在门源县试种75.5亩,单产多在200斤以上。在脑山区化隆县洛芒大队试种151.7亩,亩产184.9斤。据1980年全省试种的1,000多亩统计,在无霜期稍长的脑山区,平均较当地小油菜品种迟熟5—10天,增产20％以上。
