  一、文体解读
  电子邮件(e-mail)与一般信件一样,也包括信头、正文和结尾部分。它具有使用方便、传递快捷以及内容比较简短的特点。
  信头:必须在“收件人(To) ”框中输入收信人的e-mail地址,如:Jim1922@sohu.com。“主题(Subject)”框最好不要空着,它的内容应简明地概括信的内容,可以是一个单词、一个短语,也可以是一个完整的句子。
  正文:e-mail正文前的称呼通常无须使用诸如“Dear Mr. white”之类的表达。在同辈的亲朋好友或同事间可以直呼其名,但对长辈或上级最好使用头衔加上姓。例如Jack,或者Pro. Johnson等。写电子邮件要直接,并多用短句,使意思清楚。当然,对重点部分要作详细介绍。太长的内容可用附件的形式发出。
  信尾:根据信件的正式与否选择合适的结尾。与书面信函不同的是,e-mail的结尾可不署名,尤其是给朋友、同学等熟人的e-mail;同时无须写出时间;信尾的客套话通常也只需一个词,如Thanks, Best(表示Best Wishes 衷心祝愿)等。
  电子邮件的人称以第一、第二人称为主,时态以一般现在时或一般将来时为主。

  1. 开头语

  (3) Your kind letter of November 22nd arrived this morning.
  (4) In reply to your letter dated July 4, I want to say...

  (7) Im writing to ask if... / to tell you...
  2. 正文常用语
  (1) Could you come to...
  (2) I should very much like you to join us.
  (3) Id love to come, but I cant because...
  (4) In my opinion, you should...
  3. 结尾语
  (1) Im looking forward to receiving your reply.
  (2) All my best wishes to you.
  (3) Remember me to your parents.
  (4) Good luck to you.
  三、实战演练
  假设你的英文名为Jack,是英国诺丁汉大学的中国留学生。你负责为在该校就读的32名中国学生筹划春节期间的苏格兰之行,为期7天。请你给诺丁汉的STA(Students Travel Agency)经理Phil发一封电子邮件,联系有关事宜。要点:1. 希望能够派车接送;
  2. 需要一名说标准英语,并且非常熟悉苏格兰的导游;
  3. 请求告知旅行日程及就餐、旅馆、费用等情况;
  4. 你的联系方式:电子邮箱地址:Jackwang@yahoo.com.cn或电话号码:07747745007。
  注意:1. 开头和结尾已为你写出;
