想象是指在知觉材料的基础上,经过新的综合而创造出新形象的心理过程。制作新闻标题,是否也需要想象?回答是肯定的。报纸上一些比较吸引人、有表现力的标题,其中不少含有丰富的想象。这些标题不是简单地复制生活,把新闻内容和盘托出,而是以新颖形象的语言,让读者去领略标题中包含的意蕴,从中获得美的享受。例如,《疑是仙子下凡来——访新成立的江苏花样游泳队》(新华日报1983.12.20),题中的一个“疑”字,耐人寻味。标题的制作者把花样游泳队运动员的姿态,与神话传说中的“仙子”联系
Imagination refers to the psychological process of creating a new image through new synthesis on the basis of perceived material. Is it also imaginable to make news headlines? The answer is yes. Some of the more appealing and expressive titles in the newspaper, many of them rich in imagination. Rather than simply copying life and revealing the content of the news, these titles give readers a taste of the beauty of the title in the language of novel images. For example, “suspected fairy come down - visit the newly formed Jiangsu synchronized swimming team” (Xinhua Daily 1983.12.20), a “doubt” in the title, thought-provoking.
