从正面的意义上讨论信仰问题,是《新青年》主编刻意的筹划,也是作者们比较关注、具有共识的话题。而《新青年》发起的“打倒孔家店”运动其实就是一场有关国民信仰的保卫战。《新青年》对现代国民信仰建构的重视态度,深深地影响了五四新文学革命运动的发生与发展。《新青年》等杂志对现代国民信仰问题的思考,渗透到了五四时期的新文学创作中。
Discussing the issue of belief in a positive sense is a deliberate plan by the editor-in-chief of New Youth and a topic of more concern and consensus among the writers. The campaign of “Down with Kongjiadian” sponsored by “New Youth” is actually a defensive war on national beliefs. The “new youth” attaches great importance to the construction of modern national beliefs and deeply affects the occurrence and development of the May Fourth New-Literature Revolutionary Movement. The thinking of “New Youth” and other magazines on the issue of modern national beliefs permeated the new literature during the May 4th Movement.
