In the Manchu Township of Labugoumen and its vicinity, all the major Manchu members were members of the Peng surname Han, who entered the border with the Qing Dynasty and was included in the Inner House flag. Based on a few field surveys of the area and combining the official and private literature and oral materials in the Qing Dynasty, this article examines their true source and family background and explores the social and cultural context in which such a Chinese group maintains Agree with Manchu’s mentality, and deepen the understanding of the complexity of identification of the Inner Banner of the Eight Flags. The survey found that the “construction” of the “Manchu culture” in the area is incompatible with historical facts. In the new period of reform and opening up, this kind of excavation and utilization of cultural resources is enough to urge scholars to think deeply about the realistic significance of national history.
