The authors used pathogenic Leptospira (Lactobacillus) strains of L45 to extract the leptospira lipoprotein (GLP) by the modified Braun method, lipids were extracted by Folch chloroform / methanol method, liposomes were prepared by Westphal phenol / water method Polysaccharides (LPS), and compared cytotoxicity and other biological activity. Experiments show that the hook body GLP is chemically and biologically different from LPS. The characteristic structure of GLP-deficient LPS was observed under electron microscope.
