巍巍伏牛山,茫茫八百里。北起江汉,蜿蜒南去。入河南省南召县境,戛然而止,五峰耸峙。五峰呈南北一线三公里并连矗立,云雾缭绕,飞瀑高挂,怪石嶙峋,势成五极。巍峨壮观举世罕见,故得名“五朵山”。五朵山与“南顶”武当山遥相辉映。故,五朵山有“北顶”之称,为河南省古八景之一。在《山海经》称“倚帝山”;《水经注》称“岐棘山”;《太平寰宇记》称“骑立山”。《明清靖南阳志》云“此山五峰并峙,圣朵、禅庵朵、摩云朵、娇女朵、娅女朵并肩而立”。画家郭颐盛赞美曰:“东朵如泰山之座,西朵如华山之立,中朵如嵩山之卧,北朵如恒山之行”。 Valuable Funiu Mountain, the vast eight hundred years.
