在线视频在这几年发展非常迅猛,进入2009年以来,就在线视频而言,有三件事情已经变得非常清晰:一是在线视频的点击率呈稳定增长态势,根据美国ComScore公司的统计,仅在2008年的12月份,美国在线视频的点击率达到了170亿次;二是在线视频呈现出一种经典的长尾分布, YouTube仍占主导地位,上千万的网页也开始使用流媒体技术;三是目前,各种各样的讨论都从技术层面转移到了价值方面:不是简单地创建一种播放器或者在不同格式之间如何进行转换,而更重要的是怎样吸引观众以及让这些大量的视频流得以商业化。
