Objective To investigate the effect of comfortable nursing mode on surgical patients. Methods A total of 110 patients undergoing surgery in Longchuan County People’s Hospital of Heyuan City from August 2014 to October 2016 were selected as study subjects and randomly divided into observation group and control group with 55 cases each. The control group received routine perioperative nursing, and the observation group was given comfortable nursing based on the control group. The two groups were observed before and after the operation of nursing comfort, psychological status, nursing satisfaction and complications. Results After nursing intervention, the scores of 9 factors in SCL-90 in observation group were significantly improved compared with those in control group (P <0.05). The proportions of mild, moderate and severe discomfort in the observation group were 65.45%, 30.91% and 3.64% respectively, while those in the control group were 20.00%, 40.00% and 20.00%. The nursing satisfaction score of the control group was (81.3 ± 6.1) In the observation group (98.1 ± 4.3) points, the differences were statistically significant (P <0.01). The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was 5.45%, which was lower than that in the control group (18.18%), the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusions Comfortable nursing model can be used in perioperative patients to improve their psychological status indicators, increase patient satisfaction with nursing, is conducive to the prognosis of surgical patients, reduce complications and improve their quality of life, worthy of clinical promotion.
