如何在高职高专英语教学中渗透中西方文化

近年来国家大力发展高职教育,培养既专业知识过硬,又有技能的复合型人才,越来越多的学生步入高职高专院校。对于绝大多数进入高职高专院校的学生来说,他们英语成绩并不高,因此对于在高职高专学习过程中作为公共必修课的英语来说,将面临巨大的挑战。一方面大多数学生英语基础差,不愿意学习英语,另一方面由于对英语厌学致使学生对英语学习失去兴趣,因此高职高专英语课堂改革迫在眉睫。为使高职高专学生更好地融入英语课堂,变被动学习为主动学习,在高职高专英语课堂中引入中西方文化,提高学生英语学习兴趣。文化学习是英语课堂学习的一部分,而往往在英语课堂中教师注重知识点教学忽略掉了文化教学,是英语课堂变得一味地知识学习枯燥的英语知识点,学生对英语课堂失去兴趣。在高职高专英语课堂中给学生渗透中西方文化,既可以丰富英语课堂内容,又可以使学生重新拾起学习英语的兴趣。 In recent years, the state has made great efforts to develop higher vocational education and trained compound talents with excellent professional knowledge and skills. More and more students have stepped into higher vocational colleges and universities. For the vast majority of students entering higher vocational colleges, their grades in English are not high, so they will face enormous challenges to English as a compulsory course in higher vocational colleges. On the one hand, most students have poor English foundation and are unwilling to learn English. On the other hand, due to the lack of interest in English learning due to their weariness of English, the reform of English class in higher vocational colleges is imminent. In order to make higher vocational college students better integrate into the English classroom, change passive learning into active learning, introduce Chinese and western cultures into English classrooms of higher vocational colleges and improve their interest in English learning. Cultural learning is a part of English classroom learning. However, in the English classroom, teachers often neglect cultural teaching because they pay more attention to the teaching of knowledge points, and become boring knowledge points in the English classroom. Students lose interest in English classes. The infiltration of Chinese and Western cultures into English classrooms in higher vocational colleges not only enriches English classroom content but also enables students to regain their interest in learning English.
