笔者的曾祖父王老寿在世时是山东临沂、郯城地区的名医,他老人家与大军阀吴佩孚有过非同寻常的交往并因此而为吴大帅背了半辈子“黑锅”(被划为“四类分子”)。曾祖父曾说,大军阀吴佩孚是个极其复杂的历史人物,他生前以民族英雄戚继光为楷模,处处以“忠孝”标榜自己,确也为自己赢得了些许“美名”;但同时他又疯狂地举起屠刀,残酷地镇压革命,落下骂名。至于吴佩孚一生功罪自有史家评说,但吴佩孚往往是以反而形象见诸于报刊,为了让世人管窥吴佩孚的另一面,笔者将曾祖父告知的两则有关吴佩孚的轶事转告广大读者。 The author’s great-grandfather Wang Lao Shou was a famous doctor in Shandong Linyi and Tancheng while he was still alive.
