“正确解决”,是经常性思想工作的落脚点。但当前有些基层政工干部对“正确解决”这个问题没有掌握运用好,导致一些本来简单的问题复杂化,复杂的问题又简单化,往往使一些问题留下“尾巴”。我体会,处理问题的方法是否得当,主要应做好“五个结合”: 一是“多”与“少”结合。所谓“多”与“少”,这里专指共性与个性、普遍与特殊。基层单位发生的问题,往往表现在这种矛盾的统一体中。有的问题虽然发生在个别人身上,但却反映了部队一个时期的一种不良倾向。要“透视”问题的共性,着力抓好带倾向性问题的处理,既处理教育个别人,又能使多数人受到震动和警醒。如果只抓个别,“不及其余”,处理不好“多”与“少”的结合关系,就只能“按下葫芦浮起瓢”。

This will not only deal with individual education but will also enable the majority to be shaken and vigilant. If we only grasped the individual, “not the rest,” and did not deal with the combination of “multiple” and “minority,” we could only “press down the gourd to float the scoop.”
