In the wake of the global financial turmoil, many people are wrestling with money bags to live their lives. Only “face” money can not be saved. Although the global economic downturn has made it difficult for China, the largest consumer cosmetics market, to bypass it, the conditions reflected in the international market as well as the recent consumer surveys and the market performance of leading cosmetics companies have all brought relatively optimistic forecasts for the market in 2009.
