Shape and phase evolution in nuclei is one of the current frontier topics in nuclear structure research. Different types of transition have been identified, such as rotation-driven prolate-to-oblate shape transition[1], and spherical-to-deformed ground-state phase transition as a function of proton number and neutron number[2]. In addition, Regan et al.[3] proposed the E-Gamma Over Spin (E-GOS) curve to discern vibrational-to-rotational evolution along the yrast line.
