多模态语篇分析方法使在新媒体时代解读漫画语篇成为了可能。隐喻是漫画新闻传递“言外之意”的一种重要手段,使漫画新闻在多模态表征方式上呈现出鲜明的特征。本文以认知理论为框架,以《人民日报》的一幅漫画新闻语篇为语料,对其进行多模态分析,探索多模态新闻漫画语篇中的隐喻机制,从而剖析多模态漫画语篇的隐喻意义。
Multimodal discourse analysis makes it possible to interpret comic texts in the new media age. Metaphor is an important means of comic news transmission “meaning beyond words ”, which makes the comic news show distinctive features in multi-modal representation. Based on the cognitive theory, this article takes a comic news discourse of People’s Daily as a corpus, conducts a multi-modal analysis of it, and explores the metaphorical mechanism in the multimodal news comic discourse to analyze the multimodal comic strip Metaphorical Meaning of Discourse.
