中央党校科社部靳薇教授多年来致力于应对艾滋病方面的杰出领导和田野调查研究,取得了丰硕的成果。本刊2005年第2期曾经发表过她的研究论文,得到社会各界的好评。2005年6月15日晚,联合国副秘书长、联合国艾滋病规划署执行主任应中央党校副校长李君如先生的邀请,到中央党校出席了“世界面对艾滋”报告会。会上,联合国副秘书长彼得·皮澳特博士给濮存昕和靳薇教授颁发了奖章,“以表彰在应对艾滋病方面的杰出领导和持续贡献”。本文即为他在这次报告会上的演讲词。现予以发表以飨读者。
Professor Jin Wei from the Social Sciences Department of the Central Party School has worked hard for many years on outstanding leadership and field research in AIDS and has achieved fruitful results. I published in 2005 the second issue of her research papers have been well received by all sectors of society. On the evening of June 15, 2005, UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of UNAIDS attended the “World AIDS Face” report to the Central Party School at the invitation of Mr. Li Junru, Vice President of the Central Party School. At the meeting, Dr. Peter Piott, UN Under-Secretary General, awarded the honorary title to Professor Pu Cunxin and Professor Jin Wei in recognition of their outstanding leadership and continued contribution to tackling AIDS.
