从社会性别视角看当今的电视节目,不难找出其中含有对女性贬抑甚至歧视成分的内容。这些电视节目明显流露出对妇女独立人格和尊严的贬低,虽然大多数性别歧视表现形式是隐蔽的,常常令人难以察觉。 由于传统社会文化的影响,人们更习惯从男性中心的角度来审视女性形象,再加上市场经济的强力冲击,某些电视节目将女性有意无意地置放在一个可悲的境地中。在这些电视节目里,当用男性眼光过滤了的女性形象出现在荧屏上时,女性便成为商业文化和男性眼光的载体,成为获取商业利润的手段,起着满足世俗社会(以男性为主导的)需求的作用,在所谓的审美过程中被消费被利用被拍卖了。
Looking at today’s television programs from a gender perspective, it is not hard to figure out what contains the ingredients that derogate or even discriminate against women. These television shows clearly demonstrate the devaluation of the independent personality and dignity of women, although most forms of sexism are subtle and often unobtrusive.
