合作学习作为一种先进的现代课堂教学理论和策略，能够优化课堂教学形式，提高学生的英语综合技能。从合作学习的视角出发，将其应用在英语专业翻译教学课堂中，通过实地观察和分析，论述目前高校英语专业翻译教学中实行合作学习模式的实践现状，同时指出实践中遇到的常见问题并提出相应的解决途径。
