由天津社会科学院举办的“走向21世纪的天津文化学术研讨会”于1996年12月10日召开。来自本市的50多名学者就天津文化的跨世纪发展等问题展开了热烈的讨论。提交大会的学术论文有20余篇。会议认为,在当前深刻的社会转型期,天津如何面对世纪性的文化挑战,发展自身的城市文化,创造良好的人文环境,是一个极为紧迫的课题。文化建设是精神文明建设的重要组成部分,文化发展战略应纳入城市总体发展战略,给予高度重视。研讨会就天津文化的发展脉络、特质结构、优长与弱势、性征与环境等问题进行了深入的研讨。这里,我们将提交研讨会的20余篇论文的提要和6篇论文予以发表。这6篇论文的内容,既有对天津城市文化的历史回顾,又有对21世纪天津文化的展望;既有对文化分析框架的探讨,又有对天津文化丰富内涵的剖析;既有对研究方法的探索,也有对会议的评论。相信读过之后,不仅会有助于加深对天津城市文化的历史和现状的了解,同时也会对如何深入开展天津文化的研究有所启迪。希望这次会议所取得的成果会对推动天津文化的理论研究和文化建设的规划与发展起到积极作用。
The “Tianjin Cultural Symposium to the 21st Century” organized by Tianjin Academy of Social Sciences was held on December 10, 1996. More than 50 scholars from this city started a lively discussion on such issues as the cross-century development of Tianjin culture. There are more than 20 academic papers submitted to the conference. The meeting held: In the current profound social transition, it is an extremely urgent issue for Tianjin to face the century-long cultural challenges, develop its own urban culture and create a good environment for humanities. Cultural construction is an important part of the construction of spiritual civilization. Cultural development strategies should be integrated into the overall urban development strategy and attach great importance to them. The seminar conducted an in-depth discussion on the development of Tianjin culture, the characteristics and structure, the advantages and disadvantages, the sexual characteristics and the environment. Here, we publish the abstract and 6 papers submitted to more than 20 papers at the symposium. The contents of these six essays include not only the historical review of Tianjin’s urban culture but also the outlook on Tianjin culture in the 21st century; both the exploration of cultural analysis framework and the analysis of the richness of Tianjin culture; Methodological exploration, there are also comments on the meeting. I believe after reading, will not only help to deepen the understanding of the history and current situation of urban culture in Tianjin, but also on how to carry out in-depth study of Tianjin culture inspired. It is hoped that the achievements made at this meeting will play an active role in promoting the theoretical study and cultural planning and development of Tianjin culture.
