China Association for Science and Technology Association sponsored by the Chinese Society for Computing and other eighteen associations jointly organized the first session of the National Joint Conference on computer applications in January 26, 1988 in Beijing. This conference is a grand academic conference to commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the establishment of the CAST. It is also a grand event that reflects the application of computers in all sectors of the national economy and the promotion and application of computers in various fields
