在美国波士顿美术馆中国书画展厅的入口处,有一幅由吴昌硕(1844～1927)所写的横匾,上书“与古为徒”四字,他并于题识上,指该馆收藏之古物甚富。今人可谓得天独厚,古人遗留给我们的文物汗牛充栋,让我们能尽览之余,亦可从中探知其历史源流,甚至对艺术创作有所启发,把“与古为徒”加以活用。 At the entrance to the Chinese painting and calligraphy exhibition hall of the Boston Museum of Art in the United States, there is a horizontal plaque written by Wu Changshuo (1844 ~ 1927) The antiquities are very rich. Today people can be described as blessed with unique historical relics left behind by our ancestors. We are able to explore the historical origins of our heritage and even inspire the artistic creation to make use of “old believers.”
