壹调查地区自然概况一、气候:甘家山及蓮塘,均乏長期之記录,由于該二地区与南昌市相鄰近,以南昌市之气候资料即可代表該二地之情况,南昌市年平均温度为18.9℃絕对最高温为39.4℃絕对最低温为-3.4℃。二、土壤及成土母質,此二地之土壤主要者有紅壤、棕壤、紫色土,及河岸冲积土、紫色土系紫色頁岩发育而成,土壤較肥沃,呈酸性至中性反应。广大紅壤地区由于发育之母質不同又可分为下述数类:自与紫色土相毗連之地区起至直面西周、魯田一帶,为第四纪紅土层发育之紅壤盖复于第三紀紅壤之上,土壤呈强酸性反应(PH,4.5——5.5):自西周魯田以西則为千(扌攵)岩发育之紅壤,呈酸性反应,有机質含量低下,全剖面含有母質碎块均为棕紅色之粘壤土,与千(扌攵)岩发育之紅壤地区毗連直至西山山区多系由花岡岩发育之紅壤,亦呈酸性反应。
