七十年代以来,国外钻井技术方面的重本突破之一就是出现了适用于软地层的聚晶金刚石复合片钻头(即PDC钻头)和钻硬至中硬地层及软硬交错的人造三角形聚晶金刚石钻头(又称BDC钻头)。 BDC钻头无转动郑件,配合井下动力钻具,能大幅度提高机械能量.在四川深井段,钻井中压差达7~15MPa以上,机械钻速低。BDC钻头直接吃入地层,剪切破碎岩石,提高机械钻速.它为双锥形碳化钨胎体,内锥和外锥扶正钻头。切削刃锋利,容易吃入地层,钻压小,有利于改善井斜。它的切削块由上千个金刚石单晶复合而成,晶体间不定向排列,使其具有比天然金刚石更高的强度,抗磨性及耐冲蚀能
