隔绝式自救器,目前在煤矿较一致的看法是安全系数高,比过滤式自救器优越。这是因为隔绝式自救器自生氧,而且与大气隔绝,在空气中含有多种有毒、有害气体或在贫氧的环境下都能使用。因此,在煤矿中特别是有沼气和二氧化碳突出的矿井,普遍选购AZC─40型隔绝式自救器。但是,通过多年的实践,已经证明AZC─40型隔绝式自救器不适于在井下应用。其理由是: 一、着火 隔绝式自救器着火问题,在我国煤矿中发现过多次。其中有自救器启动时着火,运输中着火,还有在开会试用时也曾发生过着火现象。个别队员在拆卸时,发生过爆炸伤人事故,在开启时还冒出白色烟雾并突然喷出。以上情况表明,隔绝式自救器不适宜在含有燃烧爆炸性气体环境中使用。当井下沼气突出或在有爆炸性气体中矿工进行自救时,当时虽未发生爆炸事故,而因戴用自救器着火,也可能引起沼气爆炸,从而扩大事故。
