经济型数控车床可以采用步进当量(脉冲当量)作为基础值的开环控制,或较为先进的半闭环控制,刀具原点直接影响加工件的每个尺寸。因此对刀问题是经济型数控车床的系统设计,特别是使用和推广时需要考虑和解决的一个重要问题。当使用自动回转刀架时,对刀问题就更为突出。目前,经济型数控车床多采用四方自动回转刀架,也有用六角自动回转刀架的。这时,必须考虑几把刀的相对位置(如图1所示)。
