冶炼金属,硝皮制革,制造染料和农药及某些化学工业,均需用砷,然而砷对于人是一种强毒剂,且是积累性的毒物,小剂量持续地食入后,最终可达致死量(Buchanan,W.D.,1962)。其对鱼类的毒性,依威尔伯(Wilber,C.G.,1969)的综述看来,其说不一,许多报道提出:砷浓度达1或2ppm时,对鱼类即有害。还有人提出,砷浓度大于1ppm时,将对鱼类及饵料生物产生有害的影响。为此,于1974年8月至11月,用金鱼为材料,进行了砷的慢性毒性实验。结果如下。
