英语词典是英语学习过程中,尤其是词汇习得过程中必不可少的参考书。但在实际教学中,学习者普遍没有良好的使用英语词典的习惯,同时教师对于充分利用英语词典在培养英语学习策略中的作用并没有给予足够的重视。近年来,词典使用研究开始受到英语教学和研究工作者的关注。虽取得了一定成绩,也存在不少问题。不断地改进研究方法,是词典使用研究走向成熟的关键所在。 English dictionaries are essential reference books in English learning, especially in vocabulary acquisition. However, in practical teaching, learners generally do not have a good habit of using English dictionaries. At the same time, teachers do not pay enough attention to the role of English dictionaries in developing English learning strategies. In recent years, research on the use of dictionaries has drawn the attention of English teaching and research workers. Although some achievements have been made, there are still many problems. The continuous improvement of research methods is the key to the maturity of research on the use of dictionaries.
