For a long time, one common metaphor that people demanded for teachers to have a wealth of knowledge is to give students a glass of water and teachers must have a bucket of water. In the era of knowledge explosion, a bucket of water is obviously not enough. A more appropriate metaphor is: To give students a glass of water, teachers must have a well. The “Teacher Law” stipulates that school teachers at all levels must have corresponding academic qualifications, and this requires that sufficient water be filled up from the beginning. However, it is not enough. In teaching practice, it must also be constantly enriched and constantly updated. Specifically speaking, it is necessary to have sufficient reserves, but also have a wide range of sources to continuously enrich and update, this is a pure water quality, never drying a well.
