《全日制义务教育英语课程标准》指出:基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标是培养学生综合运用语言能力。上述目标概括起来就是在英语教学中,我们必须有效地把语言能力训练和交际能力训练有机的结合起来。词汇教学是语言学习的重要内容之一。随着现行教材词汇量的不断增加,词汇教学已成为英语教学的重头戏。目前,许多教师在教学词汇方面关注机械训练的较多,而在探讨更利于教学的有意义训练上重视不足,其结果是导致学生没有把所学的语言知识有机地转化为语言技能,教学单词效果始终不令人满意。
The English Curriculum Standard for Full-time Compulsory Education states that the overall goal of the English course in basic education is to develop students’ ability to use language in a comprehensive manner. To sum up the above goal is that in English teaching, we must effectively combine language training and communicative competence training. Vocabulary teaching is an important part of language learning. As the current vocabulary of teaching materials continues to increase, vocabulary teaching has become the highlight of English teaching. At present, many teachers pay more attention to mechanical training in terms of teaching vocabulary, and they pay more attention to exploring more meaningful training that is more conducive to teaching. As a result, students fail to organically convert the learned language knowledge into language skills. The effect is always unsatisfactory.
