We intend to adopt the risk model of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the semi-quantitative risk model of occupational exposure to chemical toxins in Singapore to evaluate the occupational hazards in the furniture industry separately and to explore suitable risk assessment methods for occupational hazards in the furniture industry. The researchers selected four furniture enterprises in Zhejiang Province (A, B, C, D), and used the above two risk assessment models to conduct risk assessment of occupational hazards in four enterprises respectively, and compared the results.
