计算机技术的迅猛发展使多媒体走进英语教学,形成多媒体英语教学模式。但由于缺乏人际交流,多媒体教学在培养学生的语言交际能力方面存在一定的局限性。20世纪80年代兴起的合作式教学注重师生间的交流互动,有利于学习者实际运用语言能力的提高,因此,本文尝试运用合作式教学活动来弥补多媒体教学中的不足。对比实验表明,这种施教策略为大学英语教学改革提供了有益的尝试。它能够促进教学中的人际交流,提高学生的学习主动性和自主性,有利于培养学生的口语交际能力。
The rapid development of computer technology has brought multimedia into English teaching, forming a multimedia English teaching mode. However, due to the lack of interpersonal communication, multimedia teaching has certain limitations in cultivating students’ language communication skills. The cooperative teaching that emerged in the 1980s pays attention to the interaction between teachers and students, which is beneficial to the learners’ practical use of language skills. Therefore, this article attempts to use collaborative teaching activities to make up for the deficiencies in multimedia teaching. Contrasting experiments show that this teaching strategy provides a useful attempt for college English teaching reform. It can promote interpersonal communication in teaching, improve students’ learning initiative and autonomy, and help cultivate students’ oral communication skills.
