为了解决花型准备系统符号记忆困难，绘图设计效率低的问题，提出并实现了上套基于面向对象和多图层概念的全新图形编辑系统。该系统不但提供功能强大的图形编辑工具，使花型的输入、编辑和显示变得简单、灵活，而且提供一套形象、生动的纱色调色板、织法库、翻针库、摇床针数选择、提花组织库，减少了打板工艺师对编织符号的记忆，最大限度地实现绘图的方便性。另外，为了达到快速、精确设计花型的目的，在编译过程中自动生成上机图和程序指令。系统采用窗口式指令与菜单式程序制作方式，为用户提供一个直观、友好的界面。
